1910 Masotti begins its activity. Established by the great-grandfather of the current partners, the company transports beer and grains by horse-drawn carriages in Friuli Venezia Giulia. 1919 The first truck arrives, a BLR 15 TER with hard-rubber tires. It is the first motor vehicle for carrying goods and it's an event for the whole town. 1934 A FIAT 1934 truck is bought, allowing Masotti to extend its operating range. 1939 The first tank is delivered. It is mounted onto an OM 137 truck, used for carrying fuels. 1960 The company, formed together with other partners, is broken up in order to make room for F.lli Masotti (Masotti Bros.), the only company in Friuli engaged in transporting liquid goods between Italy and Austria. 1965 The one-man business Ermido Masotti is established, in order to develop the transport of liquid goods, first as to fuels, then specializing in the field of chemicals. 1984 Masotti srl (a limited company) is established. This firm begins its activity by transporting liquid food products; it quickly develops and acquires new markets, soon becoming the most important company in Friuli as to the transport of liquid goods. 1989 Masotti srl diversifies its business, promoting a consortium in order to develop the transport of solid goods and offering high-quality services to the companies of the region. 1993 Goods begin to be carried to and from the Eastern European countries. The activity develops up to carrying out third-country shipments with CEMT licences. 2001 New 22,000-sqm. premises are inaugurated, in order to face the growing market requirements.
